The Legacy of the Acura RL: History, Technical Evolution, and Sales Data

The Acura RL served as the flagship sedan for Honda's luxury brand from 1996 to 2012. It replaced the Acura Legend and was eventually succeeded by the Acura RLX in 2013. The acronym RL stands for "Refined Luxury".
